I came across this fabulous baking kit on Funky Food Gifts website the other day and thought I would have a go at making these scrummy shortbread biscuits. The baking kit is by Suzy Pelta and there are several different kits to choose from. The Bake With Suzy range includes Mini Victoria Sponge, Triple Chocolate Scone and Cookie Dough Cupcake. The Slice Of Bake range (that’s what I ordered), includes Brownie Bites, Butter Biscuits and Chocolate Dipped Cookie Dough Balls and the Bake British range includes English Mini Scone, Chocolate Chunk Biscuit and Shortbread. There is also a Fun Shapes Kids’ baking kit, so there really is something for everyone.
The ingredients come in a gorgeous cake slice biscuit tin and are already measured out for you, the only ingredient I had to supply myself was butter. All I had to do next was get my favourite pinny on and get started, easy peasy!
The kit comes with plain flour, corn flour, soft light brown sugar and step by step instructions. Perfect!
After sprinkling with sugar, my family and I couldn’t wait to dive in and start eating and I have to say they tasted absolutely delicious!
I did have a few left over and storing them in this pretty biscuit tin was ideal, although they didn’t stay in there for very long, as they were a definite hit with my daughters.
I loved this Slice Of Bake baking kit. I made 26 biscuits altogether and they were so quick and easy to make. The storage tin will definitely come in handy for future bakes too. The only question now is, which baking kit shall I choose next?
